Flatulence Tea Blend
1 part Caraway Seeds
1 part Catnip Leaves
1 part Dill Seed
2 parts Anise Seed
3 parts Chamomile Flowers
Mix all herbs in an airtight glass jar. Store in a dark location. Make an infusion to use. To make one cup of tea - put 1 tsp of the Flatulence Tea Blend in a mug and add one cup of boiling water. To make a quart of tea - put 2 Tbsp of dried tea blend into a quart jar and add 1 quart of boiling water. Cover tightly and let steep anywhere from 30 minute to over night (the longer it steeps the stronger the tea will be). You can follow our herbal learning guide and read more about infusions here. Drink 1-3 cups daily if the tea is to benefit you, as an adult. If it is to benefit your nursing baby, drink 3-4 cups per day. Adjust dose for children. These dosages are general guidelines found in most herbal reference books for drinking infusions.
*Try to only use organic herbs from a reputable supplier (I buy herbs online from Mountain Rose Herbs and at our local health food store who carries Starwest Botanicals) that are not irradiated.
*It is always best to check with your local health care provider before starting any long term herbal regimen.
*Please do your own research by studying each individual herb before taking. Each herb is not always beneficial or safe for everyone.
*Refrigerate any leftover tea - tea will store 1-2 days in the fridge in an airtight container.
